Well, the day is quickly approaching. The day I (Gary) departs for my missions trip to Guatemala. I wanted to take a little time to share about where I will be going and what I will be doing. I will be traveling to Guatemala on Thursday of this week. I will be joining 4 others to provide technology support at the annual Intermissions for Guatemala conference. Click here to read more about the conference. Each year the missionaries of Guatemala get together at a conference where they gather to get refreshed and refuel for the up coming year. At this conference people from all over the world (mostly the USA) come to the minister to the missionaries. My team is a small group of Technology Professionals that will primarily provide maintenance to the machines the missionaries bring. We are planning to do everything from upgrading RAM to running system upgrades. It is a way for us to use our skills to assist the missionaries in the field. Aside from that we hope to be able to give a way a new laptop to a deserving person.
Please pray that the travel for all is uneventful. Also, pray for all that are attending that God will be present and provide healing and a time of rejuvenation. Pray that those attending to provide service will be filled with the holly spirit and be able to minister to all we come in contact with. Thanks in advance for all the prayers and support!
